The Blurb:
'There is magic, old and true, that shadowed minds seek to undo...'
Moll Pecksniff wakes one night in the middle of the forest, lured there by a recurring nightmare - the one with the drums and the rattles and the masks.
The Dreamsnatcher is waiting...
Because Moll is more important than she knows. The Oracle Bones foretold that she and Gryff, a wildcat who's always been by her side are the only ones who can fight back against the Dreamsnatcher's dark sorcery. Suddenly everything is at stake, and Moll finds herself drawn into a world of secrets, magic and adventure.

The Review:
Wow, wow, WOW!! I absolutely LOVED this book! It is one of the best debut's I've ever read and has truly captured my heart. I just could not put it down and read it in less than a day as a result.
This book is fast paced, magical and so full of charm that I simply fell in love with it. I loved the bond between Moll and Gryff and I'm now wishing that I had my own wildcat.
I could not think of a better story to pass onto children to encourage them to explore the outdoors and get to know nature. I also thinks it offers a different perspective on Gypsy travellers and that we should all be at peace with our surroundings and really look after the nature around us as nothing stays the same forever.
I adored Moll's headstrong personality and how she does what every child does best and tries to develop their own personality by not always doing as they're told. In a way she is a free spirit and I like that as I think everyone at some point should have some experience of that in their lifetime.
I think Abi wrote the story beautifully and really captured elements of her own childhood wonderfully throughout which hopefully will encourage children to be creative and build their own dens.
I have not been this enchanted in a long time and I'm so glad that I was not disappointed as I had been so excited about this book and had fallen in love with the book trailer. I'm going to be recommending this book for a long long time to come and can't wait to see what the sequel entails.
This is a book which will definitely stay with me for life,
