Her by Harriet Lane

The Blurb:
Emma
A Struggling mother who has put her ambitions on hold.
Nina
Sophisticated, independent and entirely in control.
When the two women meet, Nina generously draws Emma into her life. But this isn't the first time their paths have crossed. Nina remembers Emma and she remembers what Emma did...
But what does Nina want from her?
And how far will she go in pursuit of it?
The Review:
I loved how we got the narrative from both Nina's view and Emma's view as it really portrayed the contrast in their lives. At many points I found myself asking what Emma could have possibly done wrong to make Nina dislike her so much and then I was disappointed when I finally found out as I believed it was something awful.
I believe that what Nina did was way worse than what Emma did and I felt sorry that Emma was drawn into Nina's life through the lies and deceit that Nina created. I personally wouldn't like to meet Nina as she seems very two faced.
I wish the story didn't end as abruptly as it did because now I'll be wondering about what happened to Christopher and whether or not everything turned out ok or whether it was all Nina's fault. I have a feeling these questions will circulate my mind when I least expect it to.
I was hooked from the start and even now I still have questions that still need to be answered but then maybe I'm just curious.
